Anybody familiar with a "Harwood" gold coin?

A friend of mine ran across a coin at a dealer today - one side says Edward C. Harwood (with pic she assumed was Harwood) and the phrase "Sound Commercial Banking", other side said "For integrity there is no substitute" and "1 oz gold". Date was 1981.

She was wondering if anybody knew anything about it, so I told her I'd ask the people I thought most likely to have an answer -
so, I'm asking.

I guess the question is - would it be worth bullion value of 1 oz gold, or is there some other value associated with it? I could Google a little bit about it, but nothing about the value. He sounds like an interesting man - ahead of his time, perhaps.

I noticed that some of the gold rounds are marked with "One Ounce Gold" and others with "One TROY Ounce Gold". So your round would be worth (SPOT/31.1)*28, for melt.

Here's someone selling a 1/20th ounce gold piece, from the same series. I don't think he'll realize his asking price.

I'd love a picture of Braun, in his bee costume. Must have been a gas to see.

Neat little coin!

Here's Harwood's paper...

"The lost art of commercial banking"

Just bought a one ounce coin on EBay for $679 after MS Live CB. Wonder if it's the same coin.
